Rarotonga Training Part 3: Return to The Cricket Pitch

The Final Instalment Of The Rarotonga Training Series!

This was the final training session we had at Kent Hall in Titikaveka with Clem, Ciel and the rest of the boys. It was one of my last days on the island and a lovely way to end the trip.

We exchanged techniques, ideas and a bit of banter throughout the afternoon and ended the session with some really fun rolling. There were enthusiastic representatives from the Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia, Russia and England - a truly multicultural collection of grapplers.

I send a big thanks to all the boys in making it a really special occasion, a true highlight of the islands!

An extra big thanks goes out to Clem for going easy on me. I'm sure next time I'm there we will drill some standup, at which point i will really be in the deep waters!

PS. For those of you who like rolling around like a beetle with your mates: not having a place to wrestle is no longer an excuse not to do it  - go and seek out your local cricket pitch!
