Boxing Day Session with Phoebe!



* i know its a few days past boxing day, but forgive me, i was in a far away land - a far away land without internet connection.

I had a mad Boxing Day session with my sister Phoebe up at our parents place. The first part was skipping rope single and double unders, and the second part a whole bunch of squats, lunges and jumps followed by a nice little hill run through the bush.

Once again, it was all lower body stuff as my shoulder was/is still healing up. Needless to say, legs were damn sore two days later.

If you ain't doing double unders in you training, you should give them a try. You can throw them in anywhere - they get you moving and get your heart pumping hard! They're great to throw into the middle of a strength workout to make things all the more metabolically challenging.

An extra little tip with the double unders not mentioned in the video, is trying to keep your breathing fluid throughout. I have a habit of breathing short and shallow while doing them, but im getting better.

Bam!
